I woke up around 0300. Actually I first had to get up around 0500, the worse were the following two hours, which I had spent on one side, then throwing on the other side in bed to wake up sometime and look at the clock. 0456 that’s the way it always comes, it was clear. Coffee made and terribly trembled, because the heating only starts automatically around 0600. A short look in front of the door brought the result that it was not white outside as expected. On the evening before it had started to snow, which luckily did not remain, because the temperature was about 0°. Something in the net surfed and on Telepolis the newest messages read. With DE it goes further and further downhill. Then the morning toilet finished, read on and packed my stuff into the bigger AMI backpack. Heaters set to 10°C again, time to get off to the train. Two stations from Söllingen station to Berghausen Stadium, where Peter my nice wise driver was already waiting for me.

That day I probably had a lecture in one of those conference halls. When I wanted to get there at the beginning of the conference, I first thought it would be a room with 20 people. After all it was a room with 600 people and 2 big screens and oak wood lectern and American flag. For my first real English lecture it was a little surprise that made me a bit nervous. However, the whole thing went off without any problems. After the conference there was still time and I drove east to Kennedy Space Center.

This time I woke up before sunrise. In the night it had become quite cold and I woke up from the eternal cough of a man, who would not make it much longer judging by the cough. I was content with a meager laundry and went with my stuff one floor down into an already opened cafe. Here I could enjoy again the decent Moroccan coffee which has a decent caffeine content. I was with my winter clothing on the way and nevertheless it was already quite cold. After the coffee I went to a shop and got some flat bread and cheese for the trip to Tiznit and on to Sidi Ifni.

I awoke around 0800 from the loud quake of the waves that hit the rocks in front of me. I freshened up, had slept very well and the evening pseudosalmonella attack was no longer felt. In the community shower there was enough warm water, so that I could warm up a little after the quite cool night, especially since nobody was to be seen further in the hotel and all the more not in the corridor. Of course there was no light in the shower, but I had candles with me. Additionally I showered a set of clothes, because with two sets of clothes I had to think ahead.
