The AC had worked diligently and quietly during the night. I only notice it early when I open the door to the corridor, how big the difference is between inside and outside. There was almost nothing going on on the streets. I drank some cappu and walked about 30 minutes before the train should leave for the station. As always everything was covered in a loose fog, where you could see about 5km far. The fog was certainly mixed with smog, but I couldn’t tell the difference. After the absolutely senseless scanning of the luggage and the beeping of the metal detector I went into the again gigantic departure hall and sat down to the correct gate.

2011 Morocco – Day 10 – Ouarzazate
Due to the disturbances of the night I woke up again quite early, made myself clear so far, checked out and went back to the square. The Draa flows into the Atlantic again after a turn, the rest seeps into the desert. Before I could drive off, a guy from the shop under the hotel 20dh coaxed me out of his car on the grounds that he had been looking after the car all night. I didn’t believe that, but I didn’t feel comfortable with the whole hotel. So I gave it to him and made off.

I slept well that day. I packed up my things, checked out at the slow old Zausel again and went towards the bus station. Meanwhile it had become again already at noon. The bus journey to M. should take about 5-6h. The distance was only about 200 km long, but the slow bus and the serpentines over the Atlas made the journey quite long. But this way was much better than the southern one I came from Taroudant before.
