🌄 From Arizona to California | Phoenix to Joshua Tree Drive

After our short stay in Phoenix, we drove on to California to Joshua Tree National Park. On purpose we didn’t drive the highway, but the more or less parallel route to it through the desert. The weather was ideal for now and the area anyway.

In this video, I take a drive from Phoenix, Arizona to Joshua Tree National Park in California, a journey that crosses deserts, mountain ranges, and long stretches of open highway. This trip connects two very different but equally fascinating desert landscapes: the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and the Mojave Desert of California.

2022 USA – Day 11 – Death Valley

Death Valley is an expansive desert region in eastern California, forming the heart of Death Valley National Park. It lies between the Sierra Nevada mountains to the west and the Amargosa Range to the east, creating a vast enclosed basin that is both visually striking and environmentally extreme. The park covers an enormous area of desert terrain, making it the largest national park in the contiguous United States.

USA 2022 – Day 10 – Death Valley

Death Valley is a vast desert region in eastern California, forming the core of Death Valley National Park, the largest national park in the contiguous United States. It lies east of the Sierra Nevada and west of the Nevada state line, occupying a remote and geologically dramatic part of the Mojave Desert. The region is internationally known for its extreme climate, stark landscapes, and immense sense of scale.
